Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan expressed his concern that while the Chandrababu government is working to deliver welfare schemes and development, some elements are trying to spread hatred among people. He called this an attempt to divide society.
Pawan Kalyan urged Jana Sainiks to stay away from such conspiracies. Addressing the party cadre at the Amaravati party office, he said hate campaigns were being run on social media and YouTube to create rifts in the name of caste and religion.
He stated that such forces have been active for over 10 years. He warned party workers not to fall into their trap or provoke conflict, as it would give those behind the conspiracy an advantage. He referred to the Machilipatnam incident as an example.
The Jana Sena chief said that those trained to speak provocatively online must be dealt with through proper law and order mechanisms. Taking matters into one’s own hands would only strengthen the motives of such groups.
Pawan Kalyan also said that people instigating hatred through social media and analysts spreading divisive views must be punished under the Indian Penal Code. He stressed that those fuelling organisational hatred should be brought under the purview of law.
Regarding the Machilipatnam incident, he clarified that an internal inquiry is underway and explanations are being sought from those involved. He urged party workers to be cautious about false narratives on social media and promised to handle such issues democratically.
