We Will Talk Till 2 AM, What’s Your Problem?

The YSRCP has no say in the Legislative Assembly and the 11 members including ex CM Jagan barely attend the Assembly. But the party seems to be decided on creating an issue out of every matter in the Legislative Council.

But the point to be noted here is that the TDP leaders and Ministers are giving them replies that are shutting the mouths of the opposition members.

Amidst walkouts, slogan-raising and even attempt to attack other members as was seen on Thursday morning, when YSRCP members tried to attack BJP legislator Somu Veerraju, the proceedings in the Legislative Council have been chaotic.

After an objection raised by YSRCP’s Botsa Satyanarayana, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav gave a befitting reply. He said they will talk about the Tirupati laddoo issue and adulterated ghee issue till 2 am in the morning. What’s your problem, he asked.

Payyavula Keshav hit out at Botsa saying who were they to stop them from making statements or speak about the matter. The Minister went on to allege that the YSRCP members were playing with the sentiments of the Hindus. Payyavula asked why Botsa and his colleagues were scared if the ruling party talks about the Tirumala adulterated ghee issue.

The fear of YSRCP is obvious as any proof of tampering with the quality of the laddoo could mean losing out on Hindu votes. On Wednesday, Jagan performed puja at Nandiswara temple in Nandipalli to appease the Hindu vote bank.

Looks like the sparring will continue till the next Assembly elections and it is bound to become a flashpoint during election campaigning.
