Pemmasani: A High-Quality Galla Jayadev Clone!

TDP Guntur MP Candidate Pemmasani Chandrasekhar filed his nomination the other day. It was a massive show of strength and the nomination rally itself looked like the Success Rally.

Pemmasani who is an NRI doctor has been hogging headlines for the past three months.

He is a doctor and also an Edtech company called UWorld which is probably used by every MCAT( Medical Entrance) and Nurse entrance exam applicants in US.

According to an estimate, his company earns more than $100 Million USD (850 Crore INR) per year.

In his election affidavit, he has declared his family income of 5,785.28 Crore INR.

The Money he possesses does not make him special. Pemmasani was brought to the Guntur Parliament as a replacement to Galla Jayadev who could not withstand the Government’s harrassment of his business and took a break from politics.

Jayadev was a big ticket entrepreneur when he announced taking a break from politics, it was a huge disappointment for the TDP’s rank and file.

Jayadev was a poster boy of the educated politicians with no blemish of Corruption and indepth understanding of issues.

Who can forget his speech in the Parliament addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ‘Mr Prime Minister’ and questioning him about the forgotten promises to Andhra Pradesh?

Thats the reason why Jayadev won a second time even in Jagan’s wave in 2019.

But Chandrababu got a perfect replacement to him in the form of Pemmasani.

He fits to all the qualities of Jayadev in terms of clean image, money power, education, entrepreneur spirit, and the aura to attract the neutral voters.

Jayadev used to struggle in connecting to the masses since he has poor communication skills in Telugu. But even though an NRI, Pemmasani delivers electrifying speeches which are impressing the masses as well.

Furthermore, he is not taking the election easily. His influence is also clearly seen in all the seven Assembly segments under Guntur. He is sweating it hard in the campaign too unlike the NRI candidates who only dump money and leave the electioneering to the local leaders.

All this makes Pemmasani a superior candidate in TDP’s MP candidates list this election season.

No wonder Jagan struggled to put a right match to him and kept on changing candidates multiple times. There is a talk in the political circles that the current YSR Congress MP candidate already gave up on this election.
