Perception helped TRS?

The much touted GHMC elections concluded yesterday and exit polls started pouring from popular news channels. All news agencies are opining that TRS will walk out with clear majority.

What led TRS to perform in such a big scale which stayed away from the participation in previous municipal elections due to lack of strength. If we dig the reasons then we can find that perception of voters helped ruling TRS party to smile in the elections. In 2009 elections also voters inclined to Congress as it was ruling then.

Most denizens perception remains in such a way that electing ruling party as their corporater will benefit their ward in terms of funds and works to be released from Government.
