Phone Seva by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam

Devotees who are going to darshan in Tirumala are cut from outside world as they wait for hours together in the compartments. Kin of those waiting outside is worried if they get delayed inside. Devotees are not allowed to bring their mobiles inside.

TTD is planning to install advanced telephones in all the compartments in Vaikunta Queue Complex. So that the devotees can inform their kin about their timings. The talk time will be restricted to Two Minutes to accommodate the crowd.

TTD had initiated first round talks with BSNL, Aircel, Vodafone, Idea and Reliance Jio and by next week the authorities will finalize the arrangement. Devotees are already given food and milk for infants while they wait in compartments.
