PM’s Mann Ki Baat Flooded with Save Amaravati Calls

Mann Ki Baat is a program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he addresses the people of the nation on All India Radio, DD National and DD News. Before every program, the Prime Minister seeks inputs from the people regarding the topics which he should speak about.

There is a dedicated hotline in which people can give their suggestions. Now, that hotline is being flooded with the messages of Save Amaravati. The farmers in Amaravati are hoping that the Central Government will interfere and safeguard their interests.

So, they have chosen this route to bring their issue to the notice of the Prime Minister. Earlier, to encourage, the land pooling policy, the Central Government had exempted the farmers from one time Capital Gains Tax. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself laid the foundation stone for the Capital.

It has to be seen if the Prime Minister will intervene.
