Center Gives Cleanchit to Chandrababu

Union Jal Shakti Ministry has given a clean chit to the Chandrababu Naidu Government on Polavaram Project works. Former Janasena Leader Pentapati Pulla Rao recently wrote to Union Jal Shakti Ministry to unearth the Corruption in the Project during Chandrababu’s regime.

But the Ministry wrote back to him saying that there is no preliminary evidence about any Corruption that has happened during Chandrababu’s regime and therefore, no investigation is needed. Earlier Jagan Government appointed a committee about the same and the Center said the state government set aside the report of the committee.

The committee made some Corruption allegations in its report. The Central Government wrote thrice to the State Government for proofs about the allegations. After failing to report the proofs, the state Government set aside the committee’s report. It is known to our readers that the Opposition unleashed a vile campaign against the then Chandrababu Naidu Government alleging Corruption in Polavaram

Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the election campaign alleged that Polavaram has become an ATM for Chandrababu. At the end of the day, the Center’s Clean Chit means all those are just political allegations. But that has cost Chandrababu the second term and now, the party is fighting a battle for survival.
