Police arrests Rajaiah, wife and son

Warangal Police had taken former MP Siricilla Rajaiah, his wife and son Anil in to custody a short while ago. Rajaiah’s daughter-in-law Sarika and grand children got burnt alive this morning. Sarika’s parents have complained to the police that they have suspicions on this incident.

Sarika previously filed harassment case on her husband, father-in-law and other family members. She even staged a fast unto death in Hyderabad when Rajaiah was in cabinet back then. It is said that she even wrote a letter few days ago to Congress high command not to give him Warangal ticket.

Police registered the case as suspicious death and are now interrogating them. Rajaiah was to file his nomination as Congress candidate for Warangal by-election. Following the incident, he was changed and former Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana was brought in to the fray.
