RIP – Political Punches Facebook

Telugu Desam Party boasts of its huge online following. This following helped the party big time in the last elections with various initiatives like ‘Bring Back Babu’ etc. Jagan realized the strength of online very late after the 2014 elections. To rein TDP some how, he joined Twitter and also got an active social media team for the party.

However a Facebook Page (Facebook.com/politicalpunches) which claims to be politically neutral bashes Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan in all possible ways in the name of ‘Political Punches’. Some of those cartoons are even very abusive and defaming. Above picture is just a sample of their abuse as their photo-shopped images were much worse and abusive.

Some how the page is suddenly taken down. We do not know if the page was taken down by Facebook team or for any other reason. Let’s see if they bring back those abuses in the name of punches in some other form and name!
