PVP Booked For Criminal Trespassing & Threatening

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Businessman, Film Producer, and YSR Congress leader Potluri Vara Prasad was booked by the Banjara Hills police for trespassing in his neighbor’s property and threatening them using his goons. Incidentally, the victim happens to be BJP senior leader D.K. Aruna’s daughter Shruthi Reddy.

According to the complaint, PVP was damaging their society’s common compound wall with drilling machines to erect iron sheets. When asked to stop these illegal activities, they threatened her family and abused them in filthy language, causing them grief and a threat of security and privacy.

Banjara Hills Police booked cases under Sections 447 (criminal trespass), 427 (mischief causing damage), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 r/w 34 (insult the modesty of any woman by several persons) of the IPC. “A case has been registered and we are investigating the issue,” Police said.

This is not the first time PVP found himself in such news. He found himself in at least three similar cases that got so much media attention as well. PVP unsuccessfully contested as YSR Congress Vijayawada MP in the 2019 elections.
