Power Of Social Media, Jagan Relents!

Social media is dictating government policies these days. Political parties can not ignore it any longer. Social media impact has fallen on Andhra Pradesh politics as well.

It is known to our readers that AP Assembly has paid a tribute to Minister Gautham Reddy who passed away recently. But it has skipped doing the same for the former minister and veteran politician, Konijeti Rosaiah.

This has become a big issue on social media and people have criticized Jagan calling him narrow-minded. They said Jagan may be upset about Rosaiah becoming CM in his place after YSR’s demise.

The mainstream media and opposition also picked up. But there are many instances that proved Jagan would not care about them. The only difference this time is social media exerting pressure.

Finally, the government has relented and AP Assembly paid homage to Rosaiah today.

Rosaiah is a close-aide of Late YSR and has played a crucial role in Telugu politics. Keeping aside the personal differences, it is really bad to see Jagan ignore such a towering personality.
