Prime Minister Modi topped the list of powerful Indians, issued by Indian Express. In the 2025 Top 100 Powerful People list, Modi came first. He is the only Prime Minister to serve three subsequent terms after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. His impact on Indians and their confidence in him earned him the place.
Home Minister Amit Shah came second, while Union Minister Jaishanker came third. In the fourth place was RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat.
Opposition chief Rahul Gandhi came ninth. As for the Telugu states, Revanth Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi and Allu Arjun are part of the list.
In AP, CM Babu came in 14th place. Though he didn’t get a spot last year, this year, he made it to 14th spot. Running the alliance government and giving people-oriented governance put him in the slot. AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan stood at 73rd position. He too did not make it last year, but stood 73rd this year.
Incidentally, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is 28th in the list. After becoming the TPCC chief in 2021, he gave a shock to ruling BRS by defeating them in 2023. The report however said that fighting the BJP and winning in local polls is a challenge to him.
Those who didn’t find a place include ex CMs KCR and YS Jagan, KTR and Lokesh.
Film star actor Allu Arjun stood at 92nd spot.
Industrialists Mukesh Ambani stood 10th and Gautam Adani was at 11th place.
