PM Modi Announces Janata Curfew on 22nd March

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed the nation a little while ago regarding the Coronavirus scare. He called for people to display resolve and patience to tide over this crisis for which there is no cure or vaccine in the Science as of today.

Modi, on the other hand, called for a Janta Curfew on the 22nd of this month. He asked people to confine themselves to indoors between 7 AM to 9 PM. It looks like the Government is testing the co-operation of the people in case the situation leads to a complete shutdown.

Modi also called for the people to clap their hands or ring bells exactly at 5 PM that day to thank the doctors, nurses, paramedics, and others who are risking their lives to help the people in this crisis time. A siren will be blown across the country exactly at 5 PM.

The Prime Minister also announced an Economic Task Force led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to study the possible implications of this situation on the economy.
