Prof.Kodanda Ram’s shifts interest on TFI?

“Telugu Film Industry is presently in the hands of four big families. They are also in full control on theatres and this situation must change.” These words have become so cliched that everyone who wants to make controversy on TFI is found mouthing the above statement; right from Dasari Narayana Rao to many small producers.

This time it is the Telangana movement harbinger Prof.Kodanda Ram who has mouthed the same dialogue. While people are expecting him to clear his stand on KCR and question the ways of the CM on various issues, Kodanda Ram has been playing an undertone on the CM refraining himself from critisizing him directly.

Surprisingly he took on TFI and with a handful of JAC leaders, the professor met Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and spoke on the present scenario in TFI. He opined that the slab system in the industry must be removed and tax must be colleced depending on the tickets.

He also suggested the minister to recognise the newly formed Telangana Film Chamber and see that everyone is given a fair chance in Tollywood. It’s really a big surprise why Kodanda Ram is concentrating on Film Industry when there are so many issues on which people are waiting for him to respond and support them.
