Public Mood: Did Jagan Join TDP?

Andhra Pradesh High Court’s Justice K Sreenivas Reddy’s bench completed hearing the arguments in Chandrababu Naidu’s Quash Petition and reserved the judgment to Friday.

Legal experts who followed the arguments of both sides say CBN’s lawyers were better in the day and there are good chances for the case to get quashed. It has to be seen what happens!

Meanwhile, the Government is preparing for the next options as well. It has moved PT Warrants against Chandrababu Naidu in the Inner Ring Road alignment case and Fiber Grid case already. The plan is to keep Chandrababu in jail in one case or the other even though he gets relief in the Skill Development Case.

Previously, Jagan used the same strategy with TDP’s Former MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar. He was arrested in more than 50 cases and had to stay in jail for a long time to get bail.

He would get arrested in another case if he got bail in one case and the cycle would go on.

The idea seems to be the same in the case of Naidu but Naidu is not Chintamaneni or these are not ordinary days. We have around six months to go for the elections.

Already the public mood is clearly indicating growing sympathy towards TDP.

Chandrababu Naidu is a towering personality. It is not possible to escape the public by pursuing Vendetta politics. If at all, the High Court quashes the Skill Development case on Friday, the remaining cases and the days Naidu will spend in jail will become immaterial.

The neutral and even a section of Pro-YSR Congress voters will automatically tilt towards TDP. The public will shoulder Chandrababu Naidu and steer TDP to a huge victory even if Chandrababu goes to elections sitting in jail. TDP already has one more advantage due to the alliance with Janasena. The caste calculations will also help.

It’s high time Jagan realizes the damage due to wrong timing and high-headedness. It is almost like Jagan has joined the TDP and is working hard to help the party come to power.

Sometimes we ignore these things when drunk on power but when we realize it is already too late.
