Daggubati Purandhareeswari and her husband Venkateswara Rao usually breath fire on Chandra Babu. The couple differed with Chandra Babu and joined Congress Party. Offering MLA ticket to DVR and Union Ministry to Purandhareeswari, Congress used the couple effectively to target Chandra Babu. Daggubati Venkateswara Rao even went on to write several books on Chandra Babu about how he back stabbed NTR and got hands on Telugu Desam Party. They even released a CD in which NTR scolds Chandra Babu just before the last elections.
But now every thing is past. DVR took political sanyasam after the state bifurcation and Purandhareeswari now joined BJP and is spear heading the party’s poll campaign in Seema Andhra region. As BJP and TDP are heading towards an alliance, Purandhareeswari also softened her voice on the TDP Supremo. She declared she has got no anger on her brother-in-law (Chandra Babu). “I never treated him as an enemy. I am ready to work for TDP as well in case of alliance between both”, Purandhareeswari said to scribes in Vijayawada.
