Another Day Of Unfavorable Verdicts For CBN

Another Day Of Unfavorable Verdicts For CBN

It is known that Chandrababu’s legal counsel had filed a quash petition at the High Court, asking to dispose of the skill development scam charges against the TDP chief.

The court has announced the verdict on the quash petition today and it is not what the TDP troops have been hopeful of.

The High Court dismissed the quash petition a short while ago, meaning the remand and the possible CID remand investigation will continue. Justice Srinivas Reddy’s bench has dismissed the quash petition.

But that’s not all. Chandrababu’s counsel will now approach the Supreme Court and file a lunch motion tomorrow.

The Supreme Court has a working day tomorrow, 23 September and the quash petition could be coming to hearing later that day. This could be the final push from CBN’s team.

Meanwhile, Vijayawada ACB Court agreed for two days of CID Custody of Chandrababu Naidu. The court allowed the CID team to examine Chandrababu Naidu in the Rajahmundry Central Jail itself.

In a way, on Friday, Chandrababu got two setbacks in ACB Court as well as the AP High Court. We will have to see if he gets any relief in the Supreme Court.

With experienced lawyers like Harish Salve, and Siddharth Luthra on CBN’s side, who have the experience of arguing in the apex court, TDP should be looking for a favorable outcome here.
