RRR Is Likely To Join BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning major changes and reshuffling both within the party and the cabinet ahead of the elections. In Andhra Pradesh (AP), two significant changes are expected in the BJP.
One is the joining of K. Raghuramaraju into the party, and there are chances of Satyakumar Yadav, the party state secretary, being declared as the BJP president, replacing Somu Verraju. If Satyakumar Yadav becomes the party president, it is likely that an electoral alliance will be formed with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena.

YSRCP rebel MP K. Raghurama Krishna Raju is expected to join the BJP this month. Raju has been actively opposing Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s policies and has received support from the BJP leadership. Despite Jagan’s attempts, Raju’s candidature has not been disqualified in Parliament.

Sources indicate that there will be major changes in the cabinet after a large-scale meeting of the Union Council of Ministers on Monday. It is expected that several ministers will resign from their positions following the meeting, and many of them will be assigned responsibilities in their respective states on the same day. Additionally, BJP presidents of several states will be announced.

There are discussions about replacing Nirmala Sitharaman from the finance department and appointing someone who will focus on populist and public welfare policies. Following a recent train accident in Odisha, there are talks of removing Ashwini Vaishnav from the railway department and restricting his role to IT and communications.

While some top BJP leaders want Kishan Reddy to replace Bandi Sanjay in Telangana, Kishan Reddy has expressed his inability to take charge of the party again to Amit Shah. It will be clarified in the coming days whether party responsibilities in Telangana will be transferred, if Sanjay will continue, or if Kishan Reddy will be given leadership.
