Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi are all set to come to Seema Andhra. This will be their first visit to Seema Andhra post the state bifurcation. Both of them reportedly will come to Seema Andhra after April 28th. Congress party is planning to arrange their public meetings in Anantapur, Guntur and Vishakapatnam. On the other side, opposition parties are gearing up to obstruct their Seema Andhra visits.
Congress image took a severe beating in the Seema Andhra region with the state bifurcation issue. Several analysts predict that the party is all set to bag the biggest defeat of its history this time. Several MLAs and Senior leaders of the party left the party to find options in TDP or YSR Congress. It is also said that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Telangana for election campaign. Their campaigns in both regions of the state will decide the fortunes of the party.
