Rahul Gandhi all set to take on KCR in home turf

Some how that 2 months disappearance is working like a charm for Rahul Gandhi and Congress. Rahul Gandhi made a very impressive speech in the Parliament and cornered Modi government. He is now gearing up to take Kisan Yatra mishandling of the agrarian sector by the NDA government and the Land acquisition Bill. Interestingly, Rahul Gandhi had choosen Telangana to begin his Kisan Yatra and that too from Medak district, the constituency of Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao

According to official figures, 67 farmers have committed suicides in the district under the new government. Traditionally Congress is strong in Telangana and it had even given the separate state hoping to make it big there. But the movie backfired with Congress drawing no advantage in Telangana with a Single MP seat and completely drawing blank in Andhra Pradesh.

Hence Rahul Gandhi is once again giving it a try in Telangana to revive the fortunes of the party in the newest state of the country. While the state Congress is criticized for going too soft on the ruling TRS party, we will have to see how Rahul Gandhi takes on the government in his Yatra. From Telangana, Kisan Yatra will proceed to Bihar, Punjab (where a fertiliser crisis also looms) and Maharashtra.
