Rahul Gandhi coming to Osmania University

Congress vice President Rahul Gandhi is likely to tour Telangana in August second week. He is likely to attend the public meeting in Osmania University on the problem of unemployed youth. Congress party is in talks with the OU Students organizations to make the event as a center-stage for Rahul Gandhi.

Congress party hopes it will bring back the support of Telangana people and disgruntled Telangana students with this tour for the upcoming GHMC elections. Congress had ousted itself in Seema Andhra declaring Telangana. It has expected huge returns from the new state but to of no use.

Earlier in his Telangana visit, Rahul Gandhi was to stay a night at Osmania University. A big rally with students from Shamshabad airport to Osmania University is also planned. But Rahul Gandhi’s Hyderabad tour was cancelled in the last minute.
