Raj Bhavan and AP Assembly to face Krishna!

Despite initial hiccups, the land pooling for the upcoming Capital of Andhra Pradesh is going on at brisk pace. The pace will even increase from Monday after the Sankranthi holidays. On the other side, the experts team of Singapore is busy preparing the Master Plan for the capital.

It is said that the core capital will emerge on the river front in an 11 km stretch, between the villages of Udhandarayuni Palem and Venkatarayuni Palem. Government wants the administrative district to occupy the area facing river Krishna.

The Raj Bhavan will come up on one side and the assembly on the other. The State government’s Secretariat will be built between the two important landmarks. Government is also planning residential complexes for AIS officials, ministers and MLAs in the same vicinity. The capital region outside the core capital in all probability will be developed by Japan.
