Rajahmundry City Ticket Clarity At Mahanadu?

Veteran Political leader Yerrannaidu’s daughter Adireddy Bhavani contested and won as Rajahmundry City MLA in the 2019 elections. Her husband Vaasu is expecting the seat this time. He already announced himself as the candidate and started working in the constituency.

But Vaasu and his father, MLC Adireddy Apparao were arrested by the Government in a Chit Fund case.

Senior TDP leader Gorantla Bucchaiah Chowdary previously represented the constituency five times. He was shifted to Rajahmundry Rural constituency in 2014 and 2019. He is keen on going back to his old constituency in 2024.

With Vaasu arrested, Bucchaiah thinks there is a chance for him to get the ticket.

At the same time, the Adireddy family says they got arrested as a part of Vendetta politics and so, the high command should reward them with ticket for the agony they are facing.

TDP’s annual Mahanadu is going to happen in Rajahmundry later this month. The party cadre hopes Chandrababu Naidu will give clarity about the Rajahmundry City assembly seat then.
