Rajaiah to contest Warangal from Congress?

If the reports emerging from the media are to be believed, the former Deputy CM, Dr.T.Rajaiah is considering to join Congress and contest for Warangal Lok Sabha. Rajaiah was ousted from KCR’s cabinet on corruption allegations. Since then he is staying away from active politics.

Congress is of the opinion that Rajaiah’s candidature will make Dalit votes one-sided to them as they feel Rajaiah is made a victim in the whole episode. However the real question is that will Rajaiah take that big risk of leaving the ruling party and take head-on with KCR.

Rajaiah was in Congress and joined TRS just before the elections. He contest and won the Station Ghanpur Assembly segment. He was surprisingly made the deputy CM and his ousting later also came as a surprise. He will also lose his MLA seat now if contested on Congress ticket.
