Rajamahendravaram Airport Tops Quality Rankings!

Streamlining timings of flights after the state bifurcation seem to have helped Rajamahendravam airport to top the list of airports with regard to occupancy of passengers. The airport is also placed second after Vishakapatnam airport in providing amenities to passengers, according to the date with Airport Service Quality ranking.

As many as three airlines – Jet Airways, SpiceJet and True Jet are operating two arrivals and two departures each day to Hyderabad and Chennai vice-versa directly and there is a good response for these flights. The occupancy is excellent more due to the strategic timing of arrival and departure of aircrafts to the airport .

Passengers can go to Hyderabad by the time the office hours begin, get the work done and return by the evening flight to reach home the same day. This helped the occupancy rate of all the flights operating from Rajamahendravaram and register occupancy better than other airports including Visakhapatnam, Gannavaram, Tirupati and Kadapa in the state.
