Ramesh Balwani Convicted Of Fraud

Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani has been convicted of fraud by 12 Jurors on 12 felony counts of defrauding Theranos investors and the patients who relied on the blood-testing company.

It was identified that the patients were served highly unreliable blood test results which could have jeopardised their health.

Balwani is accused of collaborating with Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes in a massive fraud that put the lives of patients at risk.

Holmes had also accused Balwani of sexual and emotional assault while they were lovers.

Both Holmes and Balwani could face up to 20 years in prison. The final verdict on Balwani will be out in the coming days.
