Ramoji Rao’s Donations Brings Questions on Jagan

Media Baron and Eenadu Group Chairman, Ramoji Rao had announced a donation of 10 Crore each to both the Telugu States to mitigate the danger of Coronavirus. Without any Hungama of Photo-Ops, he simply transferred the said amount to the accounts of the state governments.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party leaders often see Ramoji Rao as their enemy and hurl choicest of abuses. But then, Ramoji Rao did not consider all that and showed his magnanimity by donating liberally. This has become a topic of discussion in social media.

It has elevated because Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his Sakshi Media House and his group of industries did not make a single penny of donation so far. When YSR Congress is in the Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy donated 50 Lakhs for the Hudhud affected people in Andhra Pradesh.

But he did not donate the amount to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund but to the YSR Foundation and Sakshi Relief Fund. Ramoji Rao did not take the route even though Eenadu has its own Charity foundations. Incidentally, Ramoji Rao’s donation is the single-biggest donation to AP CMRF so far.
