Ramoji Rao’s Eenadu Now After Jagan’s Government

Days after Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy imposed an unofficial ban on ABN – Andhrajyothy and TV Channels for airing anti-Government news, the Government has found a new tormentor. Eenadu has aired a story today in which it claims the Re-tendering of Polavaram Project is to give the contract to its favorable contractors.

Usually, any government should determine the capability of a company in completing a project and then, evaluate their financial bid. But in this case, Jagan Government will first open the financial bid and select as L1. They will decide the Financial and Technological Capabilities next. This is against the rules of the Central Vigilance Commission Rules.

Also, tenders for balance works of Polavaram and Polavaram Hydel Project were combined even though they belong to two different departments which are also against the rules. This story of Eenadu will certainly do not go well with the Government and it has to be seen what it does now.

After a relentless fight against YSR and Jagan before 2014 elections, Ramoji Rao for some reason did not go harsh on Jagan between 2014-19. This sudden change of stance will upset the government. Moreover, Eenadu also prominently displayed the news of the Government ignoring OC Tenant Farmers in Raithu Bharosa. This will also not go well with the Government.
