Ratan Tata to lead AP's Smart dreams

India’s stalwart industrialist, Ratan Tata will lead ‘Smart Andhra Foundation’ which is established to plan and implement the smart village and smart ward of the AP government. Ratan Tata reportedly agreed to lead this initiative and official announcement will come in couple of days.

The foundation will have independent charge and will put the best use of funds contributed by companies as their corporate social responsibility, donors, NRIs and various BGOs. The government is planning to make Azim Premji, Reliance Foundation, GMR and GVK as members in this foundation.

The foundation will have interested people as members in every district and will work in tandem with the government departments in implementing the Smart AP agenda passed by the foundation.
