Real boom finally in Telangana

Two years after the formation of Telangana, the registrations of lands, flats and houses are surging Northward. The government’s revenues increased by 22.36 per cent in 2015-16 when compared with revenue earnings in the financial year 2014-15. The number of registrations of lands, flats, plots and houses have also gone up by 26.92 per cent in 2015-16.

In 2014-15, about 8,32,456 properties were registered across the state and Telangana government managed to receive revenues of Rs 2,531.07 crore. And for 2015-16, as many as 10,56,525 properties were registered and a whopping Rs 3,097.11 crore of revenue is received through registrations.

This is a huge relief for the real segment in the Telangana, as the real estate is fully dull since when the agitation for separate state touched peaks. There were also concerns over the new government but slowly every thing are falling in place. Government sources expect further increase in registrations in 2016-17.
