Reality Dawns on BJP About South?

BJP which had virtually conquered the North riding on Modi Wave has harboured high hopes on setting foot on South as well. Except for Karnataka, the party has no presence whatsoever in the South. The party smelt blood in Tamil Nadu in the political turmoil that followed the death of Jayalalithaa.

It is an open secret that BJP led Central government did everything in Tamil Nadu right from micromanaging EPS and OPS factions against Sasikala. The party was brought under EPS – OPS after Sasikala was put behind the bars. Modi even went to DMK Chief Karunanidhi when he sensed trouble with the ruling faction. Many believe that Center helped DMK leaders out of hook in 2G Case as a probable alliance partner.

But then what people of RK Nagar in the by-election had decided is stunning. TTV Dinakaran is heading towards a victory while AIADMK Candidate is second and DMK Candidate is at a distant third. Interestingly BJP Candidate is on the verge losing the deposit. It is clear that Tamil people have rejected BJP as well as AIADMK which is having a secret friendship with BJP.

BJP was taught a lesson that South is not going to be easy for them. The Saffron Party is trying to armtwist its ally Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh as well and Tamil Nadu is a lesson for them to behave or people will show them their place. Will Modi and Amit Shah Realize? Only Time will tell us that.
