Why KCR Family Skipped Caste Survey?

Since morning, there is just one topic being discussed in Telangana political circles and that is regarding the caste census conducted by the Telangana government.

The opposition BRS has severely criticized the Census saying it did not cover major sections of people. It pointed out that the population of Telangana actually decreased rather than increasing over the years.

Talasani Srinivas Yadav openly asked for political reservations to be implemented as promised by the Congress government. He also said that the survey didn’t happen in GHMC which was a black mark.

KTR took a jibe at the Telangana CM that when Samagra Kutumba survey was held in August, 2014, Revanth Reddy had said that he wouldn’t divulge his details to anybody and everybody.

Amidst this backdrop, Revanth Reddy retorted by reading out names of KCR family who did not participate in the Census. He mentioned that Kalvakuntra Chandrasekhara Rao, KTR and Harish Rao didn’t participate in the survey as page 5 of the survey required one to disclose details about the land they owned.

Revanth Reddy hit back saying people who did not participate in the Census survey were pushing others from behind to criticize the process.
