It is reported that over 50,000 Indians with H-1B visas are jobless in the USA following the layoffs by the IT companies and they are left with 60 days or less to find a new job.
In case they don’t find a new job in whatever is left of their 60-day period, the Visa with out of status, post which they will have to make their way back to India. It is reported that a few have already returned to the country, and in the next couple of months, many others might also have to make their way back.
