Revanth Reddy Achieves What YSR Couldn’t!!

Revanth Reddy is set to take oath as the second Chief Minister of Telangana on December 7th, as decided by the Congress High Command without delay, similar to the swift decision-making in Karnataka.

Revanth Reddy previously served as the State Congress President for Telangana.

This marks a rare occurrence in the last three decades where a leader who was the president of PCC in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana subsequently assumed the role of Chief Minister.

It is noteworthy that Congress has come to power in the state while Revanth Reddy held the position of PCC president, and now he is taking charge as the Chief Minister.

Under the leadership of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, the Congress gained strength in the united state, but the party couldn’t secure victory in the elections held when Revanth Reddy was the President of PCC twice.

In the past, YSR, who led the party’s legislative wing in the assembly, assumed the role of Chief Minister twice in 2004 and 2009. During those times, Dharmapuri Srinivas served as the president of PCC.

Congress emerged victorious in the assembly elections in 1975 and 1989 when Marri Chenna Reddy held the position of PCC president.

Chenna Reddy then assumed the role of Chief Minister on both occasions. Now, the opportunity has come to Revanth Reddy.
