Revanth Reddy’s Arrest: Wrong Political Move by TRS?

Telangana Congress Working President, Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy was taken into custody by Cyberabad Police a little while ago. He was arrested in a drone flying case over the property reportedly owned by TRS Working president and Minister K Taraka Ramarao.

He will be taken to a Government hospital for tests and will be produced before a magistrate later. The backdrop of this case is that Telangana Congress alleged that KTR built a sprawling farmhouse in Janvada and it is funded by his incomes out of disproportionate assets.

Revanth Reddy and former MP, Konda Vishveswar Reddy tried to show the farmhouse to the World using a drone camera. Revanth was previously booked by the TRS Government in cash for vote case back then, people were on KCR’s side for obvious reasons.

If the Government feels that they can book him in trivial cases and still get people’s support, they may go wrong. This case just indicates that the TRS Government can not stand Revanth Reddy’s presence or they have something to hide in that farmhouse. In either case, it will not augur well for the party and the image of KCR and KTR.
