Former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao used to display a frosty attitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Whenever Modi used to visit Telangana, KCR wouldn’t receive him and instead, he used to send Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
But that isn’t the case with the current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Even though he is from the Congress, he is fulfilling his responsibilities as Chief Minister.
As per the protocol, he went to receive Modi in Hyderabad today and also attended the Adilabad meeting with him.
Modi inaugurated various development projects at Adilabad today. Governor Tamilisai Sounderajan also attended the meeting.
Speaking at the event, Revanth Reddy stated that they would jointly work with the union government for the development of Telangana.
He thanked Modi for assigning defence lands for the construction of elevated corridors in Hyderabad.
Revanth also requested Modi to take care of Telangana like a “Bade Bhai” (Big Brother).
