Tough Battle Starts Now, But Revanth Is Ready?

The Congress leadership took the tough call of firing Konda Surekha from her Cabinet position as she has been removed as the endowment minister of Telangana. This comes on the back of the constant murmur against chief minister, Revanth Reddy, and lack of respect towards the central leadership.

But what is certain is that Konda Surekha is not going to back down from this fight as she is an aggressive individual by nature, and has a lot of fight within her.

Containing the verbal reprimands from Surekha from this point is not going to be easy for the Revanth Reddy of the Congress leadership in general. She is likely to come out all guns blazing against everyone concerned.

It has been over 30 months since the Revanth Reddy regime in Telangana and he was able to complete this period without any significant political movement against him. There were occasional comments from the likes of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Anirudh Reddy, Konda Surekha and others, but none were threatening enough.

But the situation is likely to change drastically after the exodus of Surekha, as this would warrant a lot of reaction from the Congress senior leadership.

It is for certain that a lot of pressure is going to be filed on Revanth Reddy from this point on. But the fundamental factor to be noted here as that Revanth Reddy is a fighter himself, and he would be utmost prepared for anything and everything.

One of the crucial things that will be going the way of Revanth Reddy is the relentless backing of the Congress leadership, which values very highly for bringing Congress to power in Telangana. Moreover, the kind of ground level understanding the Revanth has is beyond ordinary.

It was always a matter of time that the internal affairs in Congress would be blown out of proportion, and it has finally happened now. So from here on Revanth Reddy will have to fight multiple battles, including the one with BRS and BJP and the one within his own Congress fort.
