God Remarks: Revanth Says Edited Words Going Around

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has landed in trouble after making comments involving Gods. Stories online claim he compared or classified Gods and linked them to Congress leaders. His remarks quickly created buzz and triggered debate across political circles.

Anything related to Hindu Gods or any Gods remains a sensitive issue across the country. While addressing an executive meeting of the state Congress, Revanth Reddy said party members pray to different Hindu Gods. Some pray to Lord Venkateswara and some to Hanuman. He said that when people differ on Gods, unity over political leaders and DCC presidents becomes even harder.

The comments sparked controversy. Revanth Reddy now says his words were taken out of context. He explained that he used the analogy only to guide DCC presidents about party functioning. He said the intention was not to offend anyone but to make an internal point.

He spoke about this after meeting the PM and union ministers. He also said the BJP is making his internal comments a big issue after losing the deposit in Jubilee Hills. According to him, the opposition edited the internal session and circulated selective clips. Revanth joked that the BJP is making him popular in North India and said he is happy about that.
