Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy has been firing left right and centre on former chief minister KCR, and this became very mainstream now. Revanth Reddy has aimed the gun at the financial resources and land pool of the KCR family in the assembly today.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that the KCR family in total has more than 440 acres in Telangana which is well beyond the ceiling limit.
The chief minister pointed out that a family of wife and husband and their unmarried kids can have a maximum of 27 acres of agricultural land. But the KCR family has 67 acres in Siddipet area alone.
In total, the KCR family(Including KTR, Kavita Harish Rao and others have more than 440 acres of land) which is beyond comprehension for the CM.
This was substantiated by a pretty strong comment made by the CM, where he said KCR ran a fake agitation and accumulated thousands of crores in money and hundreds of acres in lands in the process. He gave the application that KCR used the Telangana movement for his personal gains.
This was rounded off with another strong comment from the CM, as he said, he is commissioning, an investigation on the lands owned by the KCR family. It was further communicated that excess land will be taken away from their control and distributed to marginalised communities as a part of the housing program.
