Revanth Reddy’s remand extended!

Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy and the other two accused in Cash for Vote scam were produced before the ACB Special court this morning after their custody period lapsed. The ACB argued that their remand should be extend as the case reached a crucial juncture as they are likely to influence the evidences and witnesses if let out. ACB also confirmed that they are yet to get the forensic report.

Agreeing with the ACB’s view, the Special court extended the remand of all the three till June 29th. On the other side, it is emerging that ACB is likely to record the statement of the complainant, nominated MLA Stephenson in this case on Wednesday.

The ACB also arrived at a primary conclusion that the 50 Lakhs cash recovered from the accused after the sting operation came from some private firms. ACB is likely to conduct raids on those firms to establish the source of the money.
