RFC: KCR draws back weapons & showers flowers

Six months back, the scenario was totally different. As Telangana movement leader, KCR literally lashed out upon the Ramoji Film City and its owner Ramoji Rao. In many speeches he threatened to bury RFC and take back the lands allotted to it alleging that RFC was built on illegally acquired lands. Six months later, the scenario changed miraculously.

As Telangana Chief Minister, KCR visited Ramoji Film City on Friday and Ramoji welcomed him. He spent more than four and half hours in RFC visiting the famous parks and other constructions in the Film City. KCR didn’t get tired showering praises on the Film City saying that it is one of the proud possessions of Telangana State. The proposed ‘Om City’ in RFC would make Telangana proud across the country, which would become a one time destination for all pilgrims.

All through his visit, Ramoji Rao was seen accompanying the CM explaining him about various structures in the Film City. KCR was leisurely enquiring on the facilities available in RFC for the tourists and for their stay in the city for a couple of days. The visit seemed more like promoting the place for development of tourism in the State. This sudden ‘U Turn’ of KCR regarding RFC is surprising many in political circles.
