RGV‘s Propaganda Film: Lokesh Is No CBN

Nara Lokesh dashed off a letter to Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asking the board not to give certification to Ram Gopal Varma‘s Vyooham.

He informed the board how Ram Gopal Varma intends to tarnish and malign the image of his father Chandrababu Naidu and the Telugu Desam Party using the film.

CBFC Hyderabad already refused Certification for the film and the makers have approached the Revising Committee.

Nara Lokesh‘s letter is an indication of change in Telugu Desam Party before 2019 and now. Similar films were made when Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister. That also includes a very insulting one by Ram Gopal Varma himself.

Chandrababu was always of the opinion that responding to such cheap feats will only give more visibility. He also believes in democracy in not troubling such filmmakers and ultimately paid price in 2019.

But then, Lokesh is someone who does not believe these things and has his own ways of dealing things and nipping them in bud. This is a clear indication of how things changed under Lokesh and TDP supporters are welcoming it.
