Right or Wrong – It’s KCR Style!

Telangana government once again convened the Assembly especially to move a couple of amendments to the Land Acquisition Bill. This is the second special sitting of the Assembly after Muslim Reservations Sitting and incidentally, both of them have happened on Sundays.

In the name of rules, TDP (TS) MLAs – Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah were not allowed to the house on both the occasions. But the actual intention is to avoid ‘unnecessary trouble’ for the government which even TRS leaders will admit.

BJP MLAs who were suspended in the last sitting were not allowed this time under similar rules. With TDP (TS) and BJP sitting out and a soft Opposition Leader like Jana Reddy from Congress, it is a cake walk for KCR to get the needed bills passed without any questions.

Sundays are never working days for the Assemblies but then KCR government chose Sundays on both the occasions for the Special Sittings. The government is right with the rules but wrong with the ethics regarding the suspensions. But, Right or Wrong – It’s KCR Style!
