RRR’s Release Delayed, Not A Good News for Jagan!

The release of MP Raghuramakrishna Raju is being further delayed even though he managed to get bail from the Supreme Court. Raghuram’s lawyer Lakshminarayana revealed to the media that he would have to wait for another four days to go home on bail.

Speaking to the media on Monday, he said that the surety petition was filed in the trial court on the orders of the Supreme Court. But the judge asked for a discharge summary. However, Army Hospital in Secunderabad clarified that Raghu Rama had to be treated for four more days and can not be discharged.

The lawyers would file a surety petition in the CID court again four days after the discharge. Lawyer Lakshminarayana said the MP would not be released on bail till then. It should be noted here that the Government medical board gave a report saying that RRR is completely fine but the Army Hospital is saying he needs further treatment.

This will be used against the Government, CID, and the medical board in the court. RRR’s lawyers will say this extended treatment indicates the intensity of custodial violence and who the officials tried to brush it down the carpet. That is definitely not good news to the Government.

Meanwhile, the petition of RRR’s son, Bharath demanding CBI inquiry on the custodial violence will come up for hearing in the Supreme Court on Tuesday (May 25th).
