‘Rs 5 Lakh If KCR Dies, 10L If KTR Dies’

The election fever is well and truly catching up in Telangana with the leading parties setting the stage for the same. With under 2 months to go for the polls, the parties have amped up their campaign.

In this connection, the latest set of statements from BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind have caused a huge spur on social media as they are made in very poor taste.

Addressing the BJP troops in a meeting, Aravind said “I will include in Nizamabad BJP manifesto that I will pay Rs 5 lakh for KCR’s death, Rs 10 lakhs for his son, KTR’s death. And if Kavitha dies I will pay Rs 20 lakh. KCR is anyways an aged man,” the BJP MP said.

Announcing political campaigns and manifestos is one thing, but announcing a reward for a chief minister and his kids’ deaths is a different thing. The common talk on social media is that the BJP MP has crossed the line with his remark on KCR, KTR, and Kavitha.

Aravind won the last parliamentary elections against Kavitha and he has been going overtly aggressive against BRS ever since. His latest comment has now come under severe crtiticsm.
