Rs 57,817 Crore for Six Guarantees in Telangana Budget

In what appears to be an answer to opposition parties, the Telangana state government has allocated Rs 57,817 crore for the Six Guarantees promised during election time.

If one goes into figures, they have allocated:

Rs 18,000 crore for Rythu Bharosa
Rs 14,861 for Cheyutha pensions
Rs 12,571 crore for Indiramma Indlu
Rs 4,305 crore for Mahalakshmi (RTC buses)
Rs 2,080 for Gruhajyothi (200 units free electricity)
Rs 6000 crore for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam.

The implementation of Six guarantees has been a bone of contention between the state government and opposition that blamed the government for forgetting the promises that brought them to power.

The public too were getting impatient waiting for the Six Guarantees as promised by Rahul Gandhi prior to elections.

The Budget 2025-26 has addressed various issues that would develop and grow not just Hyderabad but tier II cities. But the key takeaway for the common man is the fulfillment of Six Guarantees.

CM Revanth Reddy has been complaining that he had around Rs 5000 crore for expenditure and it was a gamble as to pay for what and whom every month.

But the 2025-26 Budget gives hope to the common man.
