Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti has won the Warangal Zilla Parishad with muscle power. Both TRS and Congress do not have enough numbers to win this ZP and had to depend on TDP numbers. TDP has imposed a condition that it will support whichever party which gives them Ranga Reddy ZP Chairman post. KCR do not want to give TDP a life line and opted for a side route.
TRS reportedly convinced 4 TDP members and 6 Congress members by unethical methods. This defections helped TRS candidate, Padma win the election very easily.
