Sabitha Indra Reddy to get a place in KCR’s cabinet

If the buzz in the political circles is to be believed, Former Congress Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy will be joining the ruling TRS party very soon. It is said that KCR wants to rope her in to the party as well as induct her to the cabinet. The current Telangana cabinet has no representation from females.

However this move is likely to bring lot of bad name to the Chief Minister for ignoring those who worked for the party and separate state agitation and giving prominence leaders from other parties. Already KCR’s cabinet is dominated from leaders from other party particularly TDP.

Sabitha was the first woman home minister of the United State during YSR regime. She represented Chevella and Maheshwaram in the past and used to be called as Chevelle Chellemma by YSR. Following YSR’s death, she was even named in several corruption cases too. She lost the last election in TRS wave. Her son Karthik Reddy contested for Chevella Lok Sabha segment and lost too.
