Sakshi indicates future merger in to BJP?

The rumours of YSR Congress possibly merging in to Bharatiya Janata Party are in air for a long time. It is said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has no option but to take Modi’s shelter to save himself from the impending CBI cases and strong ruling party, Telugu Desam. While no one can really confirm or deny this news for now, YS Jagan owned Sakshi TV is giving feelers in the direction of merger.

Sakshi which is famous for showing only Jagan and YSR Congress related programs, is covering BJP related programs over the last one month or so. For example, BJP’s vice-president and General secretary, Ram Madhav was in Kakinada yesterday and interacted with the BJP leaders and cadre there. Even Pro-Modi channel like ETV did not cover the event but Sakshi did it.

YS Jagan who criticized Narendra Modi before the elections immediately went to Delhi and congratulated him after the win. YSR Congress is voting in favour of the ruling party in the center for all the bills in the parliament. Jagan is yet to criticize Modi or NDA government at least once after the elections. All these indicates that the merger news may be true.
