Sakshi Makes It Comeback in AP

Andhra Pradesh government had lived up to its promise. Government maintained that Sakshi will go off air only to avoid the possible caste tensions being fanned by the media channel for the political benefit of its owners. According to that, Mudragada finished his Deeksha a short while ago and Sakshi services resumed.

Earlier Sakshi was taken off air in some parts of East Godavari and Vishakapatnam, as the channel tried to instigate Kapu community using Mudragada Deeksha. Minutes after Mudragada finished his deeksha, Sakshi services were resumed. On the other side, the next hearing of Sakshi’s complaint in Hyderabad High Court will happen on Monday.

The other day, the government maintained that it did not ask MSOs to stop Sakshi services. The government counsel had asked time till Monday to submit an affidavit about the same. So with the services of the channel resumed, we will have to see if Sakshi will withdraw the case or use it to take revenge on the government.
